Colonia Escalón (San Salvador)
An upscale part of western San Salvador where many foreign residents rent first. Listings on Encuentra24 in September 2026 showed most 2–3 bedroom flats in Escalón and San Benito towers at US$1,500–3,000 a month. Rents here tend to be higher than in Santa Tecla.
